At JWB Marine, we can help with everything from annual maintenance and small repairs to full refits and guardianage.

With over four decades of hands-on experience in yacht maintenance and marine systems, we know boats inside out.

Your time on the water is precious, so we'll take care of the boring bits and you can get on with having fun afloat.

ANNUAL MAINTENANCE

Staying on top of the winter jobs list means fewer surprises and more time afloat when the sailing season gets into full swing next spring. We’re here to help with everything from a simple antifoul and topside polish to a full pre-season service. We’ll even remove covers, drop sails and take her round to the dock for you.

If your boat’s ashore for the winter, we can also assist with full engine winterisation. And for complete peace of mind, why not book a Yacht Health Check — our 60-point inspection that highlights what’s working well and what needs attention before launch.

REPAIRS AND INSTALLATIONS

From small scuffs to structural repairs, we’ll get your boat back to her best, and you back on the water, as quickly as possible. Whether it’s general wear and tear, damage from a knock in the marina, or something more serious, we’ve got the experience and know-how to put it right.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS

Reliable electrical and electronic systems are essential for any boat and keeping them up to date can make a real difference to performance, comfort and safety. From battery care and solar installations to navigation, lighting and even electric propulsion, we can help you get the most from your onboard systems.

 

Upgrades are a great way to make life onboard more comfortable, easier to manage and cheaper to run, whether it’s adding or improving solar power, modernising navigation systems or exploring electric yachting through galley upgrades or propulsion.

RIGGING SERVICES

Your rig works hard, whether you’re a cruiser or a racer, yet it’s often overlooked while the focus is on what’s happening at deck level. We inspect, repair, and replace standing and running rigging, including guard wires, as well as masthead installations such as instruments, lights, and aerials.

Whether it’s a full rig replacement, a tension tune-up, or just swapping out worn sheets and halyards, we’ll make sure everything aloft is shipshape.

CLEANING & DETAILING

A clean hull and deck don’t just look good, they protect your investment. Our services include everything from teak treatments to topside polishing, keeping your boat looking her best above and below the waterline. All cut and polishes include a pre-wash, and we recommend a washdown just before launch to remove the inevitable yard grime, leaving your pride and joy sparkling and ready for the season ahead.

We also offer interior deep cleans to refresh cabins, heads, and galley areas, and our Yacht Health Check can be combined with a clean for a full pre-season once-over.
