By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please take a moment to read them carefully.

1. ABOUT US

JWB Marine provides yacht maintenance, repair, and related marine services across the South Coast and beyond.
Our registered office is in the United Kingdom, and our services are carried out by experienced marine engineers and technicians.

2. ESTIMATES AND QUOTATIONS

All work is quoted individually. Estimates are based on information available at the time and may be subject to revision if additional work is required once a job is underway.
Any changes will always be discussed and agreed before proceeding.

3. TRAVEL EXPENSES

Any works undertaken outside of the Hamble area are subject to a travel surcharge. This is charged per hour, per engineer for each journey and will be detailed on your estimate at the time of quoting.

3. PAYMENTS

Invoices are due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payments can be made by bank transfer or other agreed methods.
JWB Marine reserves the right to charge a fee of 5% and/or revocation of any trade or loyalty discounts on overdue invoices in accordance with the UK Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

4. CANCELLATIONS AND DELAYS

We understand plans can change. If you need to cancel or postpone work, please let us know as soon as possible.
If a cancellation is made within 48 hours of the agreed start date, we may charge for any costs already incurred, such as materials ordered or travel expenses.

5. LIABILITY

We take care and pride in all work undertaken. However, JWB Marine cannot be held liable for:

  • Loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g. extreme weather, third-party negligence, marina restrictions).

  • Consequential losses, such as loss of charter income or time afloat.

Our total liability for any claim arising from work carried out will not exceed the total amount paid for that work.

6. WARRANTY

All workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of completion, provided the vessel has been properly maintained and no unauthorised alterations have been made to the work carried out.
Manufacturer warranties apply to any supplied parts or materials where applicable.
